About Me
Hello my name is Tarissa Meyer, I have lived near Spokane my whole life and been surrounded by birth from a very young age.
As a local mama and birth Doula in the Spokane area, I have a passion for helping families achieve the birth they desire. I have a special place in my heart for C-section and VBAC mamas as I have firsthand experience with both. I believe in providing personalized care and support throughout the entire birthing process. Let's work together to create a positive and empowering birth experience for you and your family.
Services
Prenatal services
You will have unlimited communication with me via text, phone and email to answer any of your questions or concerns about birth, postpartum or anything in-between.
We will have two prenatal visits to discuss your birth plan, discuss what is important to you for this birth and work on any fears you may have surrounding birth or postpartum.
Labor Support
During labor I provide Physical and emotional support for you and help you and your partner advocate for yourselves.
I will help remind you of your coping techniques, Birth affirmations,
helpful birthing positions, and breathing techniques as well as provide counter pressure and massage to help you through contraction's.
I will also assist your partner in helping you so that they are confident in their ability to coach you through your birth.
Postpartum Support
We will have 2 postpartum appointment's to discuss your birth and any questions you may have about breastfeeding, newborn care and postpartum.
This is when I check in with you and make sure you are settling into life with your new baby and that you have access to all the resources you may need.
